On behalf of all the 9h members I thought I would send you both an email regarding our fabulous ladies in the café upstairs.

Amy, Meghan & Shari do a magnificent job in the café, nothing is too much trouble for them & the array of tempting food they prepare is spectacular. Having played at various other clubs, the food that they present is innovative & consistently at the top level and in comparison with the caterers at other clubs they are in a class of their own.

We are very lucky to have these hard working ladies working extremely long hours and always with a smile on their faces.

I know from experience that dealing with customers/clients, people are often very quick to complain or criticise but only rarely do you get a heartfelt thank you, so this email is a big thank you to the team upstairs from the 9h ladies.

I certainly hope that the management at the club appreciates the work ethic of these amazing ladies.

For the last 2 years our organisation has held it's Annual Golf Day fundraising event at the gorgeous Pakuranga Golf Course. Sam and the team have been incredibly easy to work with and very accommodating of our requirements and needs. Nothing is a stress or a struggle and they always make you feel welcome. Sam's suggestion to run a 9-hole fundraising tournament as opposed to the more traditional 18-hole tournament has been very successful, with our participants loving the shorter format. They can get their work done at the office and still make it along to our event to support StarJam and enjoy a couple of hours out on the course. We would highly recommend Pakuranga Golf Course to any other organisation out there looking to hold an event. Sam and his team are always professional and great fun to work with.

On behalf of the Carbine Club of NZ, I sincerely thank the Pakuranga Golf Club for being such excellent hosts for our 2016 Charity Golf Day on Monday.
We very much appreciated the generous assistance of everyone of your staff including Aime and her team with great food and the guys in your Pro Shop. Everyone at all times was most helpful. A special thank you to Des, particularly following our Leap Year Day cancellation when the Fiji Cyclone flooding meant re-organising and rescheduling.
Whilst we have been pleased to receive generous positive feedback from those with us on Monday, most importantly the Sir Denis Blundell Trust will be benefiting with a significant amount allowing our Carbine Club to continue supporting young disabled athletes through grants distributed through Paralympics NZ & Parafed Auckland.

I would like to extend my appreciation and thanks to the Pakuranga Golf Club for facilitating the SNAG Golf programme at Mission Heights Junior College. The program, it’s delivery and the people involved were fantastic.
The Snag programme was an excellent experience for the students. They were exposed to a new sport in a very fun and engaging way. Golf has an unfair reputation of being closed and difficult to get into, however this program has definitely removed that myth from the thinking of our students. The equipment used in the program was very inviting and it even attracted staff to have a go at the sport that they would potentially never would have an opportunity to partake in. We look forward to using the donated equipment to introduce students the game of golf for many years to come.
The students attended 4 lessons; rolling (putting), chipping, and launching (driving). With in each lesson, the students were taught the correct stance and grip. At the 4th lesson, students had gained enough knowledge about hitting the ball to put their skills into action during a 9 hole game. It was by playing the game, that the students started to understand the idea of golf.
SNAG was a great opportunity for all children and even those who have not found their niche in sport, was able to participate and enjoy the game of golf. Golf is a life time sport and SNAG is a great way to broaden their horizons and whet their palate for the game. It was a fantastic opportunity for our school and on behalf of all of the PE teachers, we would like to thank Pakuranga Golf Club for this opportunity and to Todd, for the awesome delivery of the programme.

Last Friday night we had 42 diners present and one commented: “The food and service was a whole step up from anything our group of 26 has experienced as an evening meal in the last 5 years and deserves recognition.

On behalf of Half Moon Bay Rotary I would like to express our appreciation to you and your staff for assisting us to have a very successful and enjoyable Tournament and Auction day last Monday the 14th November.
Our pre-tournament meetings with you and the caterers set expectations for high standards and these were certainly met. The tables were laid out well and our auction and prize benefited from this. The food was tasty and there was plenty available. Please express our compliments to Lucy, your chef and the catering staff for a job well done.

I just wanted to take the opportunity of formally letting you know that Mum’s 90th birthday function was a wonderful success. The Oak Room is a great venue for smallish occasions such as ours, the food was absolutely superb and the standard of service from the girls was excellent. Please pass on our appreciation for the way Vino, Sam and Aayla carried out their duties. They met every need that we and our guests required. It was also a pleasure dealing with Helen and Aimee when arranging the event. Nothing was too much trouble.
We believe that the venue is a great value for the money and would certainly recommend it to friends and other members.

I really enjoyed my game on Tuesday, thanks to Des and the pro shop team for looking after me. The guys I played with were a great group. Having been a member in the 70, 80 and early 90’s and not playing there since I really noticed the improvements. It is a really nice course that the club can be proud of, I would best describe it as now being the course that as a member in the past, I had hoped it would become. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

Our Sir Denis Blundell Charitable Golf day on Monday was a great day assisted by fine weather and the generous support of our supporters and sponsors.
Apart from the participants having an enjoyable experience the major winners were our young Disabled Athletes for whom we raised $20,000.
On behalf of the Carbine Club, our very sincere thanks to the Pakuranga Golf Club and particularly your good self and your team for all you did to make our 19th Sir Denis Blundell Charity Golf Day an outstanding success.
